In addition to being a conventional book publisher, Fisher King Press offers Book Layout, Formatting, Typesetting, Cover Design, Author Website Design, Author Blogs, Production Consulting, and Editorial Services.
These services are made available to Fisher King Press authors as well as the general public, including authors who prefer to forgo a traditional publishing contract and self-publish on their own.

Book Cover Design
Standard Layout with author-provided high-resolution artwork. This service includes the completion of printer ready files of a professionally designed book cover (front, back, and spine) with 2 revisions. Once the cover is designed to your satisfaction, files are created according your printer specifications and are uploaded directly to your printer. Includes electronic digital proofs files that are provided to you via email. Price available on request.
Book Interior Formatting/Typesetting
Includes one round of revisions to text which includes 75 author changes. Includes electronic digital proofs files that are provided to you via email. IIndexing is also available andl fees vary depending on the size of your manuscript. Price available on request.
Consulting Services
Okay, your book has been edited, typeset, proof read, the cover has been designed and files are ready to be delivered to a printer—now what? Well, you can either go it on your own, search for a reputable printer and hope for the best. Or, we can help save you from making the same mistakes we've made in the past. Our consulting fee for this service is $800.00 for the following:
Author Blog
Blog construction, including feeds to syndicated news aggregators. In other words, we build your blog and make sure that your future blog posts are made available to various search engines and news aggregators. Cost is $350.00
Annual Author Blog Maintenance Fee
If you don’t have the time or the desire to learn the user friendly blogger interface, Fisher King Publishing will maintain the site layout and occasionally update your blog with author provided posts and announcements that are sent to FKP via email.
Cost is $350.00
Website Design/Construction
Includes 5 web pages: Index page, about the author, contact page, media room (for press releases and other announcements), and reviews/comments about the book. Cost is $500.00
Website Hosting
Annual fee for domain name registration and webhosting. (Please note that the price for website design does not include this annual fee.) Cost is $120.00

Printed Bookselling Materials: Postcards, Book Markers, Flyers - Price on Request.
Proofreading $5.00 per page (500 words = Page)
What is it? Manuscript is read checking for typos, misspellings, style or grammar errors, format consistency and general accuracy. This is typically done as a “final step” before submission, or on a manuscript that has been typeset. What you receive: Your document with errors corrected
Copy Edit $10.00 page (500 words = Page)
Corrects grammar, punctuation, capitalization, clarity, consistency, and conformity to style. This is a lighter level of editing than a Line Edit. What you receive: Fully edited manuscript using Track Changes.
Line Edit $15.00 per page (500 words = Page)
Line editing is polishing the writer's style, correcting incorrect or awkward grammar, suggesting improved word choices, restructuring paragraphs and sentences where necessary, refining the author's voice and tone, and generally making the prose shine. Special attention is paid to character consistency, dialogue, and scene structure. This level of editing is appropriate once the manuscript has been developmentally edited and is in good shape as far as content and structure are concerned. What you receive: Fully annotated and edited manuscript using Track Changes.
